Started in 2020, Sugar Spun Sister Chocolates is a handmade chocolate business based in Bolton, founded by Lizzie- a self taught and endlessly creative chocolatier. What began as a kitchen passion project has grown into a brand loved across the UK,with every batch of chocolates made by hand and packed with personality. Lizzie's talent and drive caught the attention of the BBC, earning her spot on the award-winning BBC1 show "Make it at Market", where she was mentored by none other than World Chocolate Master Ruth Hinks. I’ve always been a woman who feels deeply and lives fully — drawn to music, art, and the kind of moments that make life feel bigger. If you’ve ever seen me lost in a song at an indie gig or swaying in the corner of a rock club, that’s me at my most alive.

For years, I lived the everyday grind — big corporate jobs, long hours, doing what I needed to do to raise my family and keep life moving. And in the middle of it all, there were the people around me, constantly asking for my bakes and treats… because those little creations always seemed to make someone smile. Somewhere in those requests, a spark lit.

Eventually, I listened to that spark. I stepped away from the race I never felt built for and chose a path that felt like mine. That choice grew into Sugar Spun Sister Chocolates — something built with intention, care, and a whole lot of heart.

Good food, honest ingredients, and small, joyful moments… these are the things that matter to me. Creating something that can brighten a day, comfort someone, or simply bring a moment of sweetness — that’s where I feel most myself.
